Study Summary

This study is part of a research project paid for by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) called RECOVER (Researching COVID to Enhance Recovery). The National Institutes of Health is the government group that supports medical research. We are doing this study to understand how COVID affects children and young adult’s health, and why some children and young adults who get COVID are still sick many months after being infected. Taking a long time to recover from COVID is often called "Long COVID".

NYU Langone Health is one of many places across the country that is participating in the RECOVER study. At NYU, we are enrolling children, including infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-age children, and young adults who have and have not had COVID to be part of the study. We will also ask caregivers to be in the study.
